Tai Calon have partnered with Sirhowy Woodlands as part of their Blaenau Gwent Flourish and Thrive Project to set up a native tree nursery.
Sirhowy Woodlands are busy growing 3,000 trees that will be freely available to Blaenau Gwent residents, schools and organisations. A variety of tree whips will be available to suit any sized garden or outdoor space.
There will be an event at Sirhowy Woodlands in late November where you can view the trees available, chat to the experts about the type of tree you need and have a cup of tea and a bit of cake.
There will be further dates available to collect tree whips throughout the planting season (November – February).
